Great Synth... and highly inspiring. Much better than all that analog-crap. 8)

Yea i picked the rack version up today, and after about 5hrs using it in the studio I've got it sussed. Took a while to figure out the midi structuring (no manual) and editing was a piece of cake. Exploratory button pushing proved successful and I can safely say I do like this synth.

Programming is straight forward thanks to the large LCD and all the nav buttons round the screen make parameter selection easy.

The only things I didn't like were the thin-ness of the sound (not enough bottom end), the weak (IMHO) EP's and Filters and the limited selection of parameters you can assign to the 'REALTIME CREATOR' control.

After owing for almost 3 years now I can say that this synth was hugely underated...it's interface looks easy but it takes time to get most out of it.The results though are excellent,I know people owing jv's and at the end use the wsa1 for pianos, string & pads.Chicane pads are nothing compared to what you can get out of this machine.I guess I ll never sell mine :@).

Never quite made my mind up about this synth. It had exciting editing possibilities but I agree with the previous post. It always seemed a bit thin in the sonic spectrum - no richness - something like that. I miss it sometimes but when i found the pads on the yammy tg500 blew it away I thought it was time to get rid.

Fantastic synth, hugely underated. I use mine for soundtracking as the main non-acoustic instrument. Ruined by crappy customer support on Technics behalf. Still never sell it though.
