Thank God! Now there's a beta (v 0.32) of Ed!son available!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Download it from Terratec. And: Maybe much people have only problems with this soundcard because they have noname/bad components in their pc. Or they have a bad installation of hard/software. Only because windows says "the system is properly installed" it need not have to be the truth! I really had no problems with this soundcard (except the manual) !

I like your product. It's awesome. But at the moment, it's completely useless for me, because you didn't finish te instrument editor ed!son yet. When I bought the card there was a sticker on it which told me that the software package is incomplete and will be completed in a few weeks. In fact, the most important part (which is Ed!son) was missing, and the driver software wasn't working properly. Now, the "few weeks" became over 6 months, and ed!son only exists in a not useable beta version. I would give you the best grade, but so I can only give you a three. Sorry

The general quality of this card is good. The signal routes and mixer software requires some time learn, but now I think I got the hang of this card. I use this card with Cakewalk Home Studio 6.0 and Band in A Box 7.0. Usually I make (or take)a midi file and then record my guitar parts with Cakewalk. So far everything has worked fine (as good as with WIN 95 can), and sounded good. No extra noises except my guitar and ZOOM 505 noises. However, I would like have better soundbanks than those shipped with the card, the largest one is only 3,6M. I tried a 10M GS soundbank from Hoontech, but I still would like to have better drum sounds (I think Yamaha sw60 has better drum sounds). I bought this card because I thougt this could be The "all in one" soundcard for me.

I dont know about you but I'm pretty god damn tired of all the installation problems

and the waiting for unfinished software.

My Ews64xl provides a constant noise in the backround whos fuckin up my audio recordings

and the PnP parts doesent work at all.

If your not in to drinking huge mounts of coffe while banging your head against the keyboard

dont buy this #!!!### whatever it is.
