I use this card to play and edit my yamaha DB50XG daughterboard.Thats it.The card's audio and mpu port performance is similar to my SBlive value but without the sampler or F/X.Good PCI adio card for use with hardware midi daughterboards(waveblaster)and multitrack audio daughter cards(waveblaster compatible).

A good cheap board. It can playback MIDI files decently. I compared it to my E-Mu ESI-32 with the 8M General MIDI bank, and there is no real comparison. The Malibu sounds like an $80 card. But still, it is cheap. The analog inputs have too much coloration to be usable for any serious project. The digital out is quite handy though. It has a built in sample rate converter so it ALWAYS outputs at 44.1kHz. For those of us who do not have a SCSI connection from computer to sampler, the digital out is the best way to get computer edited waveforms into our samplers.
