I have both the Pinnacle and Monterey (Tahiti w/ a RIO daughter synth) working under XP and they both sound great. You can find the installation instructions to get the Pinnacle in under Win XP by visiting Turtle Beach's web site. You can find the Tahiti driver on Sonic Foundry's web site. There is no midi latency on either card under Win XP. It's also a lot easier to install the Pinnacle in Windows XP than it is in Win 9x.

This card is getting too old now (ISA). It still has good sound quality though. No drivers for WinXP, too sad...

I installed the thing w/o any problem ,the only thing I had to change was the upper memory range in w95 for it..sound quality is good, the kurzweil on the other hand is kind of awkward;I use PPE as a samplebankmanager and yuo have to watch your steps with it before you make a big mess of your samplebank. For recording audio:great. For midi :ok but a bit awkward

Don't get this card. I bought one new and had nothing but problems with it. Its really very very bad. Its difficult to install and once you have managed I found it just a pain. The sound broke up the samples played badly etc etc.
