I own (2) TX16W's and have been very happy with them. However I recently ran into a problem. I turn the unit on, load the system and everything is fine. I start loading my performance disks and it only goes thru about 25% and then it hangs. Any idead what's wrong? I do know that it is not a software problem because everything loads up fine on the second unit.

I love this sampler!!! I bought it about two years ago and it's been a center peice in my studio ever since. Note: This sampler is crap without Typhoon OS, make sure you get it. The outputs are pretty quiet, the filters are okay, but the 12bit sound it has is great for lo-fi stuff. I make all kinds of electronic music and this is my favorite sampler for making gabber and techno with. You can send samples to it via sds and add them really easily.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! I bought mine for $120 two years ago.. Best $120 I spent on a sampler!!

Bought a TX16W some years ago by accident. Used it until one week ago for sample meditation:) and multi OS 2.0 sample nirvana purposes (i.e. lost lots of time). Now I got Typhoon 2000, everything o.k. Have to get another TX ... very special sounds, lo-fi ... inspiring. Jump from 0 to 5
