Brendon Cassidy a professional user from USA writes:
Great little synth. Love the FuzzPiano patch! Very powerful. I will buy another used one for chain mode operation. My first multi-timbral synth and it opened up new worlds of electronic composition.

Don Garberg a professional user from USA writes:
Gotta have it for layering a great Wurlitzer sound. Gotta have it for 'LatelyBass'. Love to layer 'BoxCello' w/ samples and analog strgs. Clav and Farfisa sounds are still good. Sax sounds are still as hilarious and stupid-sounding as they were when we all stood in the music store in 1983 saying, "Wow, listen to that flute sound!"

Bob Parker a hobbyist user from USA writes:
I bought a TX-81Z in 1996 for $200 and it has been the heart of

my midi system eversince. Its multitimbral capabilities are

unmatched by anything else this affordable. I find just about

all the piano and organ sounds useful. I have also been able to

program some really unusual sounds with it. One of the main

reasons I chose the TX was because it is compatible with a piece

of software called "Free Play World Music Menu" which will tune

the TX to any of 120 non-western (microtonal) scales. I've used

it to create some pretty cool techno/ethno pieces. There is a lot

of power and versatility behind the simple layout of this device.

I like it a lot!

Dego a professional user from Sweden writes:
Well I think this 4op algorithm synth is great. Not 4 pads or any "imitation"

of real sounds but today u can use it in dance music the organ and the bass

are great and so is the possibility to make soundeffects. Great 4 techno and

house........

I mean u must be a idiot not to be able to program this baby...........

And it costs just around 90$

Mario von Bannisseht a part time user from netherlands writes:
I think the analog organ and the percussion organ are great. Just like the dynoEP. If someone has grreat paina and organ patches for me I'd be greatful.
