just found this beast at the thrift store for $3.00. i think its the best musical toy i've ever purchased. i've been standing on my bed for 15 minutes wailing out the repetetive rock groooves and pretending to be alan vega from suicide. this toy has touched a special part in me.

I just found this at a flea market. It was marked $35, but I talked them down to $15... it would've been worth $35, for sure! My wah lever is a little sticky, but that just makes it all the better. Perfect for creating video game symphonies that sound like old-school nintendo stuff. Keyboard's pentatonic scale makes it perfect for rock music. A true gem.

This has a limited palate of sounds, but it is one of the rare successes in the "anyone can make music" category or musical toys. Lots of settings make it at least as flexible as the average cheap keyboard. The lead and rhythm tunes are well-synched to one another, making it possible to jump around from key to key, splicing togother bits of individual melodies into something new. It's rare that i pick it up without playing it for a good long time. Stereo outs make it recording- and gigging-friendlier as well.

Super for what it is.

This thing is so damn fun to play with. I love to turn the pitch way down and it sounds like a cool synth bass/lead. The wah wah is great to!
