This Waldorf Mini Works 4 Pole is UNBELIEVABLY KOOL!! btw, the original reviewer got the name wrong. Its not micro-works, its MINI-WORKS!! Anyway, this filter has its own character for sure. I got one cuz I have owned a Pulse (not the +) and so I know what the Waldorf filters can do. This little baby rocks!!......and I have 2 Filterbanks, both v1 & v2. I will never sell this Waldorf. Its a lot of fun to work with although somewhat complicated, the manual is short but sweet. I wish these were more readily available....cannot figure out why Waldorf stopped puttin these out. They are rare to find, but I promise you its worth finding one. You wont be dissappointed!!! AMAZING!! :}}

MODULATION MATRIX IS GREAT, WORKS ON PAN, VOLUME, CUTOFF, RESONANCE NICE LFO WITH A GREAT RANGE-CAN MAKE A D20 SOUND LIKE AN UNUSUALLY BEAUTIFUL ANALOG, CAN MUTATE A SAMPLE-NEEDS SOME CHANGES/ADD ONS IN ORDER TO BE LEGIT IMO, LIKE ANOTHER LFO, AN LFO SYNC TO MIDI CLK, AND THE LITTLE FEATHER LIGHT SUPER-SENSITIVE KNOBS BITE- I'M WORKING ON A SONG AND I NEED TO EDIT THE 4-POLE-THE FILTER IS REAL GLASSY AND I LOVE IT SO I USE IT OFTEN, BUT WHEN I DO I SOMETIMES FEEL LIKE I'M BUILDING A LITTLE MODEL BOAT TO PUT IN A BOTTLE. OTHERWISE, 4/5-GOT MINE USED $300. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY ACCESSIBLE THROUGH THE WEB.

Well, This is not a synthesizer as such, more an outboard effect, and basically the

analogue filter from the Microwave in a small metal box. I bought this unit hoping to use it for processing any sound I could think of,

and i've had some very revarding sounds from it, but still have'nt been able

to get to grips with it. It's quite confusing to use. But I don't think i'll be selling it.
