It's monophonic, monotimbral, it has no effects, and yet it's the most enjoyable synth in my rig to play. Get one! It makes all my virtual analog gear sound sweeter. I was in the process of buying and selling all different types of VA's, trying to find that 'professional' sound. The Pulse was what I needed. If you're relatively new to synths, and don't have any true analog gear in your rig, get this synth. Forget all the new VA stuff that's out and that might be coming out. Get this and be happy. It goes with VA's like cookies and milk. It's cheap, it's magnificent, it's fun, it's inspiring, it's the best money I've spent in a *long* while. 1000 stars!!!

I have other true analogs that I've 'midified' but this is so easy. Anyone looking for the true addition to a VA setup, or any setup for that matter, this is it.

I loove this baby! As soon as it got in to my rack, well you could call it love at first sight! One minute warm and sensitive the other, a screeaming bich! The guy who compared it to an ARP must have tried another synth, the arp is thin (i still love the Odyssey to...) when the pulse is big fat and bassy.
The only thing i would have liked on the pulse would have been a highpass filter to cut some of the bass at occations.
