This is a great synth a lot of power for creating dance music.creating sounds on it is easy and the software gives you a lot to work with. you really have to read the manual inorder to learn all the great features. the manual is great because is a real manual no PDF documents here, it is really easy to read too because it gets to the point without all the bull. what I really like about the an200 is the sequencer because you can switch between patterns during play back that gives you the ability to create a song in real time. The drum sounds are a plus you can't never have too many drum sounds. If you are looking for analog type sounds with a simple drum machine the an 200 is a great buy. I bougth mine for $200 brand new the guy at the music store told me that they are being discontinue so grab one now before they are all gone.

This puppy packs a lot of value. I used to own the AN1x, but I like this better. Nice small size and it goes great with my DX200. They are a lethal combination. Very different, but made to work together. Nice teamwork!

Lovely one this AN200. Ive had it for a couple of weeks and Ive already got the hang of it. The sounds are amazing and when YAMAHA dropped the price to 3000 kr (200) there was nothing else to do but get one! Im a bit puzzled when it comes to polyphony though. It says that the synth is 5-note polyphonic and the drumparts are 32-note. I can only get one note on the synth and only three notes on the same beat from the drums. Whats this about? If anyone knows, please tell me, I would be very thankfull! If you find it at the new price, dont even think about it. Just get your cash out!!!

Yesterday I bought my AN200 at my favourite music shop. I was looking for a V.A. machine with a cool loops and I was really interested to the SH32 but after one hour of testing the two machines I realized that Yamaha AN200 was the best! I think Roland SH32 is better for Djs, It has the same sound you have listened in hundred of dance productions, but if you're looking for something of serious for your productions you have to go for Yamaha. AN200 shines! You can make solid basses and very analog sounding stuff, it gots so many original loops. Bye, bye Roland!
