Hmm... Synthesier = piece of hardware that allows you to create\synthesize new sounds. Price = 0 to infinity. CS1X = synthesizer. CS1X = cheap. CS1X = you define. :) See what else you can get for your money. Then buy. CS1X=more than expected. Worth the money...

Jonathan a part-time user from TX writes:
I commented on this a year ago, though I've had it longer. I do appreciate this synth very much seeing as how it's my first synth. It taught me a lot. I now have a Quasimidi Sirius and various other synths and am selling my CS1x seeing as how I need money for a sampler. It compliments my SIRIUS very, very well. You truly don't appreciate how good it sounds until it's truly in the mix. This thing does mad trance. When I wrote the first comment I didn't do trance though, so I really didn't give it much praise. The distortion sounds great, the delay is awsome when hooked up stereo, and all the sounds have this cool sharp sound when you crank the resonance and lower the cut-off. Unfortunately, I am now selling, but I am having second thoughts, so if I really am going to sell it, it'll have to be quick or I'll change my mind...

Dave From SILVERTOUCH a professional user from Metz, FRANCE writes:
I bought it for the price and because of the sounds. It looks very professionnal in PERFORMANCE MODE, and you can find great techno/electronic sounds. I don't use it in multi/XG mode, because sounds are too thin. It's the first synth in the CS serie and for the price you can enjoy very much.

Good synth.

As a professional performer in 3bands handling synth gigs this was well worth it(paid $300). Extremely easy to program! great for Trance,Techno, electronica, even NIN shit...It is not a CS2x nor a An1X/CS6X etc....but a great entry level synth for beginner or advanced depending on your current state of creativity/dedication/resourcefulness...if your LAZY or even worse a DJ...get a sampler...REAL MUSICIANS only need apply for real instr. The rest are wannabe's...HOPING a instrument will make them a MUSICIAN/STAR!! YEAH right!....learn music/harmony/arranging/improvisation and you can make a masterpiece with even a DJX....Hendrix did it with stock Strats....not $1000 rackmounts..
