Iv'e owned a few analogues but this has to be the best.Built like a tank, fantastic envelope filter, fat 64 ft bass sound. The first time we played live with it, peoples drinks walked off the bar tables! If you see one at the right price buy it and love it!

doesn't exactly sound warm but is very alive and sweet. finding a perfect sound for a song takes less than 10 seconds - very easy to use. and as the others have noted, it's a fine envelope-following filter, too. completely underrated/priced IMO.

You just can't hate this synth. It is very warm and punchy and most of all It is so simple to use. The filter is just awsome and has an Audio in... if you need more VCO's just plug in any Yamaha/Korg old analog synths ( CV/Hz Trig) and add their audio out to the CS-5 audio in. I found out that it is a nice stand alone mono synth with its own personal sound. the Construction of the unit is like a Tank.

Nice simple monosynth, not exceptionally fat sounding though it is analog and sounds like it. LFO sounds nice, as well as the noise gen, and processing external sounds through the CS-5 is a bonus.

Nice freindly analogue synth....purrr purrr.erm a basic nice model not to hard to figure out. Sweet sounding. Got it for $90 aus ($55US) at a small auction a couple of weeks ago. The guy described it as a noise machine. hehe.
