The old CX-5 computer with built-in DX-synthesizer is a good source for Fm-sounds. Graphic, easy editing, 4 part multi-timbral, only 8 note polyphony, Minus: noisy outputs, messy to have another computer system the studio.
Perfect for basslines and noises. Besides its FM-synth it´s just a piece of sh*t. If you´re a hobbyist or an entry-level techno/house producer on a very low budget it´s a good deal if you can find one of those for cheap.
