Hi I'm Royce Hall, and at my church we have a 500. I love this sound called galaxy piano. I tell you it's the best sound I've ever heard. There is another sound called 60's guitar. If that dosent sound like a real guitar I don't know what does. this guy who goes to my chruch plays the guitar and it sounds just the same.My Roland XP-60 is good .But this is better!!

Have had the DGX for 2.5 years and still learning new things about it. Unfortunately the manual is not all that clear and there are some things like new style files I'd like to use but I am unclear as to how to do it.

Alexander a professional user from Russia writes:
DGX500 and it's 76-keys version, DGX-300, are very impressive. They have the best grand piano, flute and vibes sounds I've ever heard on a synthesizer - "Live! Grand" or "Sweet Flute" timbres are taken from Tyros! Perfect gear for live jazz or rock'n'roll playing. Most of sounds are very good/good, although synthetics are rather poor, there's no modulation wheel, and no portamento at all.
