DJ Shocker a hobbyist user from USA writes:
I have mixed filling about DJX-II. I LOVE IT! I hate it. Keyboard sounds awesome, I love patterns that it has. I hate it because I bought it cause I needed MIDI keyboard, but looks like Yamaha broke the rules and made it's own MIDI Standard, that doesn't support general midi. It means you can't use it for MIDI, only to download/upload patterns. It's input levels extremely weak as well, and even when you connect to to Line out, keyboards volume still controls the sound. But I still decided to keep it, becuase I love the they it sounds, looks and feels. It's not worthless, but you will need to have another MIDI keyboard as well. I got DJX-II for under $300 and then got cheapest MIDI keyboard from Casio for $100. Rest of the work is done by my PC :)

Ollie Bulman a professional user from UK writes:
Stop comparing the DJX-II with the original. They both have their own qualities and are both excellant at what they are designed for. I've been using the DJX-II both in the studio and for live performances. It's also very easy to use, hence why some people describe it as a toy. This is simply not true as I, and my audience's reactions have proved.

This machine is amazing, i have been using it since october, everyone is complaining about its limitations (true, if this is the only piece of equipment you have you are screwed) but if you have it hooked up to only a computer and by a cheaper program like acid dj 2.0, you can mix everything together and create amazing dance music no less then what you would here in a club. Stop bad mouthing this product, for the cheap price of it, its the best thing thats come out yet.

bent23 a part-time user from USA writes:
The DJXII is NOT EVEN COMPARABLE TO ITS PREDECESSOR, THE PSRD1-DJX or DJX. Simple put, the DJXII is stripped of all the great qualities of the original DJX. Not worth $100 if you ask me. GET THE ORIGINAL DJX (PSRD1-DJX) on Ebay for less than $170.00. Don't even think about the DJXII.

I would rate it a 0.3 out of 5, but the scale doesn't go that low. Get the Original DJX NOW, before eveyone else does.
