thanks, robert schapp, for spreading the news about the xp update of xgworks lite 3.0.

there's still one thing to complain about, though: you can't ignore the fact that the sequencer chops off the start of a pattern when you switch patterns.

and if you don't have xp, does the update do any good?

still, i love this box. i now officially love fm more than analog, if anybody cares...

How does this xp patch for xgworks lite help us who are using windows xp use the dx200 voice editor, free eg, and step sequencer software that comes with the dx200?

This does not make sense.

I'm so tired of the bitching about the DX200. It's $349.00 get real with the expectations. The SOUND IS PHENOMENAL. Anyway. Important note regarding XP updates for DX200 / XG Lite 3: UPDATE HAS BEEN RELEASED. IT WORKS BETTER THAN THE WIN95 VERSION. NO LOCK UPS WITH REAL TIME EDITING / FREE EG. Can't say the same for the Win98 version. Patch apparently had to rewrite the entire program... they apologize profusely for the delay. Stop bitching and download the patch. What's left to complain about? The drum samples... FM SYNTHESIZER. You need another CPU drain, get an NI plug-in. I don't BUY THE DX200

This machine is very enjoyable to use and you can make some amazing sounds without using the sofware. But yamaha if you want to make the perfect groove box give us the power to program more than one bar and fix the fault where this thing cuts off the first note when you change between patterns. it would make a hell of a lot of difference. but rite now even tho this thing SOUNDS better than many of the rolands i can only give it a two- fix the faults and it would get a five. to me this is a real shame. what a tool it could be.
