I just bought a dx21 on my lunch break. I can't wait to get this brown piece-a... home and start programming sounds. No manual oh well, Go to yamaha's page.

Lovely synth! Has character to it. You can get some cool gritty moog sounds out of it( like The Rentals). cool Efx. Programming is a b--tard! Get Syex97 to import the cool patches at the DX21\27\100 site. I use it along side an An1x, EX7, Su10, ER-1, and it blends well.

My first synth. Actually learned to program it in 1986/7. Capable of some very very neat effect type sounds and some sparkly leads. I use it regularly in conjunction with my other synths (wavetable/phys. modelling)
