This is a good machine at a budget entry level.

But really you need a PC so you can get some decent sounds into the thing, most of the presets are rancid unless you happen to be a vengaboy. Another gripe i have is with the MIDI inputs, i really don't know what the hell is up there.

Other than that as a support to a dj set, it works well not as well as say a 303 or access virus, the effects are excellent i for one have never had troubles with them. The IIB also gives a very clear sound for it's price.

Some would say that it's just a cheesy box for wannabes, but with a little work, you can get it to make some good sounds

Anthony Kupchick a professional user from U.S.A writes:
The DJXIIb is absolutley fabulous. midi support is a pain in the ass but the whole model is generally awesome. I've been an acid user for about three years now and a djx2b user for about two. The scratch pad has been extremely helpful, i remember my right table went out and I was going to a show with my friends and the band, I grabbed my djx2b and have never done better.

For many years I have been collecting synths of many kinds. For a bit of fun I decided to invest in the DJX2 and it was well worth it.

It is fun, easy to use and adds sparcle and new sounds to mys system Perhaps not the First instrument for a pro but great as an expaneser or to show off in front of your mates!

Must have been lucky as I got it for just 99
