THE BIGGEST TRY-HARD PRODUCT EVER MADE
You get for what you pay... yeaz. That spindle on the disc bends/loosens way too easily (on every unit made.) You have to be a lil' bird in order for it not to bend/loosen. Also, MIDI isn't that hard! Why does everybody seem to be clueless wrt MIDI and this machine? Ntl, you cannot get more for your $$$, off the shelf. It's worth the price tag (used or not!)

I use the 2b in a horrorcore project I have going and its fairly useful. The effects are decent and the drums are okay. The bmp and key change helps expand its usefulness. Not bad for the $90 I paid for it, plus it has midi connectivity and yamaha offers more beats for it than what comes preprogrammed. The downside is theres no way to save what youre doing on it as far as using it by itself. When you cut it off you have to start all over.

A fabulous thing for no money. You can buy for the same money as a Casio VL tone.
