All in one concept in just one synth... great! The sounds are awesome and the keyboard very intuitive. Just an advice : try to upgrade the O.S because of bugs in the very first versions.

Great synth, although the sounds or for my use off less qaulity than my SY77, but great all-in-one package, too bad you cant use all the fdsp and an voices in a single performance setup, thats my only and real complaint about it

EX7 is my main synth and has been for two years. Rhodes and Wurli patches are comparable or better than those on keyboards costing twice as much. The sampler, despite being mono is quite powerful for my needs - mainly drums. I have assembled some absolutley sick drum kits.

One complaint though, when using loops created in 'Pattern' mode and trying to place them on the 'Pattern Track' in song mode there is a lag that makes the fuction unusable. This is very frustrating when the music you make is largely dependent on being perfectly in time. Is there an O.S. upgrade available that can remedy this problem?

This keyboard is less powerful than his big brother (EX5) but the sound is the same : amazing !! It's first a real synth before all, a sampler(mono) and a sequencer for the bonus.

The WORKSTATION for a good price.

sorry! for the 2 previous "no" messages. i think it will take me some time to know all the features of this machine. it s awsome. great sounds. i use the 16 tracks to play live. set up in advance the synth, piano. wind, brass and effects. easy to sequence with. the only 'con' is the little message when u want to combine more great sounds.

overall it s a great machine.
