Awesome Sound!!!!
No PCM Sond! But pure Synth! Very experimental sound! Blast your keyboard with Yamaha FS1R. The best FM Synth!

Are you actually aware of what the FS1r is capable of? Have you actually heard one?
The FS1r is an amazing synth that has such a powerful sound that it's not funny. The effects unit is superb, the amount of bass that it can produce is like no other synth I've heard.
Spend a few hours on one and I think you'll agree that it is NOT just a DX7 with a "funny filter".

Strong assertion:
FS1R: A 90's jupiter/memory moog/ppg/synthex etc.
Korg Prophecy: A 90's mini moog.
It's really that simple.. I truely love mine -- a cult synth if there was ever one.. Get one too -- they're so darn cheap too!!!

I owe FS1R for about 19 months. I bought it deliberately on the basis of it's specification. And I am not dissapointed. 1. If you can do a sound on a synthesizer, you can do it also on FS1R. 2. If you can not do a sound on FS1R it is probably impossible at all. 3. All the virtual analog synthesizers look like a child toy when compared with FS1R. 4. All the other synthesizers are just tricking the client. 5. FS1R is basically a synthesizer not a thing which pretend to be a synthesizer. 6. The only serious competition for FS1R can be in my opinion PPG Wave, but I am not going to try; I rather prefer to exercise and master my FS1R. 7. I do not want YAMAHA to stop FM/FS technology, this is my big concern; if YAMAHA stop it I will probably have to apply some pain to myself and build a soft synthesizer, the synthesizer marke is simply full of poor quality instruments. 7.
