motif es is the BEST SYNTHESIZER on the planet; the world's most advanced synthesizer; it acts as a sampler, sequencer, synthesizer and its expansion boards provide an1x, dx7, vl1, vocal harmony, etc....korg triton's expansion boards just add voices not entire synthesis engines like yamaha's plg boards, except for the MOSS; its features and soundsets are astounding ; with the motif es built in sounds, you will NOT need the following plug in boards: 1) plg 150pf (piano board) 2) plg 150 vl (physical modelling board) 3) plg 150 dr (drums plug in board) 4) plg percussion plug in board.

you won't need these boards because the built in sounds are just superb.

you will want the following plug in boards: 1)plg 150dx (the dx7 fm plug in board) 2) plg 100vh (vocal harmony board) 3) plg 150an (to create and sample an1x sounds)

GO YAMAHA, THE LEADER IN DSP INNOVATION!! MUAH!!! THE MOTIF ES KICKS ALL OTHER KEYBOARDS IN THE DUST

triton is nothing compared to motif es... most people in the market are stupid they like those 'touch screens' of the triton and get excited like little kids, and all hyped up......motif es has 175 mb wave rom (triton has 48mb), motif es sequencer is 480ppq(triton sequencer is 192ppq), motif es has mega voice guitars which kick the ass of the triton into kingdom come...triton sounds need all those insert effects to make it sound better, motif es does great even without a single insert, but if you want insert, motif es has 8 inserts in multitimbral mode, compared to triton which has 5. triton uses floppy drive, motif es uses cool smart media drive; triton sampler is only 96mb max, motif es sampler is 512mb max, all in all, motif es is better and more better sounding than the triton.

And they are both the same price...you want the funky wunky touch screen to play like a kid? or you want the best features and sounds in the most powerful workstation ever?

ENOUGH SAID!

I got my ES 6 about two weeks ago. Already made 40 songs. Today I pulled another all-nighter and made the illest Kool-Keith type track. Sequencer appears to suck really bad...maybe good for some people... but mpc sequencer rocks!. God damn I'm in heaven.

I'm back to give another huge update on the Motif ES. My Motif ES 6 is working GREAT!!! I haven't even had my ES of no longer than a month and I have several of artist from all genres Rock,Pop,Hip-Hop and R&B the list goes on. Several artist's want me to produce a couple of tracks for there upcoming album. Some artist want me to produce there whole album. I'm also working for an independent label as a producer. So all the artist on the label {if my production is selected} I can produce some tracks or several tracks on the artist or group's upcoming album depend's on want the manager and the artist/group wants. Maan it's crazy!! Many people don't know about the Motif because Majority of today's producers are stuck on the Triton. Every artist that contact's me says there last producer had a Triton or a beat machine but never a Motif. hem hem hem... I love my Motif ES because it has a very different sound. I also us to produce with a Triton Classic a couple years ago until I ran into the Motif then I waited for the New Motif ES. The ES is the hottest workstation out right now. Triton will respond with a new workstation soon. Both workstations are great just purchase what's going to fit your needs for your music. GoNe!@#$
