Can't understand why some reviews are so negative. You get what you pay for, and these things are dirt cheap nowadays! What were you expecting, a virtual analogue synth? I use mine to add some 'thickness' to the sound of my other gear, and for that it's fine. And yes, the drum sounds are pretty usable too.
If this is your only piece of kit then you aren't going to top the charts. On the other hand, if you want to add some polyphony to your existing setup, then this is a very cost-effective way to do it.
