Dyanne (vocalist) www.cdbaby.com a hobbyist user from USA writes:
I have a PSR-225 keyboard. I am very happy with it. I have tried to play around with others in stores and I have not found the sound of my keyboard. I am still trying to figure out how to record songs. I suppose I could just use the manual, but I misplaced it. I play impromptu jazz, a little. Anyway I love it.

Nathan a hobbyist user from Connecticut writes:
I have had my PSR-225 since 1998 and it is simply unbeatable for the price range. I was browsing the stores for entry-level keyboards yesterday and the modern units don't come even close to the quality of this one. My favorite feature of the keyboard is the intuitive 6-track sequencer which allows for three songs to be recorded. The styles are very fun and accurate and feature two variations plus intros/outros, and fills for each. The sound bank has enough sounds to keep anyone busy, in my case for years! I have now passed my PSR down to my nephews, if you have a budding musician in your family this is a great keyboard to give them professional-level means to create music.

I just got a Yamaha PSR-225 from a friend and it is not turning on.

I was told to look for fuses inside but did not find any. Does anyone know is there really is any on board?

Taylor Moreno a hobbyist user from U.S.A. writes:
I have had this PSR-225 for quite some time now, and I think it's a great instrument to play, and it also doesn't have a bad record set-up, It's just that when you make a mistake there's no way I know of fixing it. Any one know how to erase? I know it's possible I've seen it done, I just don't remember how :)

Les a part-time user from USA writes:
I have had a PSR 225 for several years. The grand piano sound is the best. I only use about 10 of the "style" variations consistently.

I would like to be able to record numerous songs but the recording capability is limeted. How can I expand the recording capability?
