I got it as a christmas present.. its a nice keyboard.. note its not a synth.. keyboard..

big big difference.. but its nice.. at first i thought it was too weak.. but hooked to the pc (midi) with a sequencer its decent.. instruments are nothing to wow over.. tho i do like the onboard effects.. however i mainly use this keyboard as a midi controller.. just to input ideas onto the computer.. definately a good first keyboard.. even at the low price i would like a way to repatch this thing.. which it doesnt have.. and the onboard sounds again are not that great.. piano sample is the best thing..

Bob Crane a hobbyist user from the States writes:
Bought this one for my wife as a first keyboard. The price was right and it had the best sound for a synth in this range (200 bucks).

The grand piano sounds great on it! The velocity could be a little better, you have to really pound it to get sound out. Horns aren't bad, drums are crap (on internal speakers).

I have not hooked it up to a system yet. One downside is headphones is the only audio out.

I also wish it had more storage, 3 or 4 songs is about all it holds.

All in all for a first time hobbyist keyboard, you can't do better in this range. As you go down in price, the sound quality drops considerably. This is a good one to stick with.
