I have been using the PSR-SQ16 for a few years. I believe it was a relatively hard model to promote, because it is a bit complex. The sound quality is Yamaha, correct, much to be desired, especially to produce guitar-like tracks.
I managed to produce some very nice play-back of existing songs, with much similarity to the original using the sequencer. Still, the trend of using MIDI-notation application does put a big question-mark on such products.
Over-all, a product of many possibilities and many features.
