Yeah, and by a mpc4000 hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!! I don't regret buying the rs7K. It's easy, all in one, flexible and if you want analog just sample it . Replace grid with step if you listen to other tracks. Life can be so easy.

The sequencer on the Rs is reason enough to buy it. The sampelr on it is awsome too for recording loops or one shot samples. I am currently working on a track where I am sampling just my Future Retro FR-777 and sequencing it with the Rs. The Rs is AWSOME. For the people who don't like it, then go back to your software and click your mouse for hours while trying to program a drum line. Heh... peace.

So?? can this thing GRID program while listening to other tracks? I heard that you can only listen to the channel your programming while in grid mode..

Well you never know until you try for yourself. I read the reviews up here and finally I decided that I would never know whether this machine was for me or not until I got one. Glad I did. To me the RS7000 is awesome. When it comes to production you can't touch it. Easy to learn but yet still very powerful. I still can't believe it. The step sequencer is the best I have ever seen. You can't mess up using it. I have made some of the phattest drum sequences in the last 3 days than I have ever made. This machine allows me to tap into my inner creativity. Everything is geared at at production. I spend most of my time making grooves instead of being distracted by alot of complicated functions. I love the way the keys feel and how they are placed, at first I was worried they would be to small making it difficult to enter notes but they are spaced perfectly. I like the idea of the 2 velocity sensitive pads at the right of the other keys. Before I had purchased the machine and actually played it I thought this would be a drawback. I wanted all the keys to be velocity sensitive but it turns out that it works out alot better the way they are. Do not let this deter you in any way. Whenever you need to enter notes at different velocities these two pads combined with the powerful editing features are more than enough. If you are contemplating on buying this machine for production purposes I seriously suggest that you give it a try. This machine with a couple of sound modules is practically unstoppable! I think my search is finally over. Yamaha in my opinion this is the best groove box in the market. Thank you guys for taking your time and being original.

rs7k is not difficult to learn and use, just a bit of knowledge first and then a quick look at the manual when you really need something and don't find a solution with imagination (hard!!! i find it really intuitive). as for the neverending story "MPC is the machine"...well, you are the machine, man, you can do exactly on rs7k what you do on MPC, or you can prefer MPC for other things.... but please stop this fukka thing about rap and rappers...i have my balls full of this shit of gansta shit etc etc... mostly rappers of THIS space must be really stupid motherfukka...get an MPC and shit on your pants when you see a real gun, stupid dumbasses.
