I have been using the S03 for a few months now. I can say right off that this is a great sounding synth, and it becomes a bargin at the price it sells for! I have been a playing musician for 35 years and do I wish I had something like this years ago.(the days of rhodes,B/3's,arps,etc.) I use the S03 as a performance keyboard. While the quality of the keyboard is lacking and can diminish it's playability, it really shines when connected into a weighted action keyboard. The rhodes sounds take me back. When I close my eyes, I swear I'm playing my old '73'. Most of the other sounds are very well done. The strings are good, but don't buy it for the acoustic piano. They are lacking. The organs are good but improve with tweaking. The S03 may be priced as a beginner synth but it sounds much more expensive. This keyboard is at it's best used as an addition to your other keyboards.

Most stuff sounds cheesy. A purchase of regret. I'd say, go for X5D instead. Some things are just so stupid with S03. Stay away...
