This unit is awesome. Easy as hell to use, and sound good too. I use it exclusively as a drum machine. I record drum sounds in to it and play it just like a drum machine. This thing for the price is great. 5 out of 5.

I don't mind the SU-10 but I can't seem to back up any of the data.
It would be 100X better if there was some way to save it. I'd be open to ideas from anyone as to how to do that. I can't find a MDF2 or 3, and my Korg can't do it either, for some strange reason....
I give the SU-10 a 3 out of 5, its alright for a cheap price if you're starting out but you are limited at the end I think with what it can do.

got one new for 300 pounds which seemed like a good idea at the time,In reality it was not.I had too much money and took too many drugs at the time. I wanted to be the new Paul Hardcastle which is probably the ultimate in setting your sights too low.I use it a lot for reverse guitar FX, Its a piece of piss to use but a bit time consuming getting loops exactly right. In short, its cute and useful if you only occasionally dabble with samples. find one cheap?..buy it. p.s. dear Yamaha. ribbon controllers are shit.

I love the SU10. I got it to replace my Sp202(which i sold and I am now kicking myself in the head for it). For the money its great(i got mine for $50) I just see it as a tool i can use to add into my music. What I like most about it is its great for making stuff on the fly when you preform. I hate boring dj sets and PAs. Take a beat, loop it and go to town with what you have.

Hey there!
just picked up a SY10 half an hour ago and can't wait to plug the little baby in and see what she can do! Reading the reviews on this website were very useful when deciding to buy one, so thanks for your comments.
anyway, HELP!!! where do i begin with this little beast?? i have no manual - do you know where i can get hold of one? what's th ebest way to get into using it?
any comments welcome
i'll review it at a 4 for the price alone for now, although. i'm yet to feel what it can do!
