This is an excellent Synth. I've had mine since they were released in 1990. The factory card 'ROCK' really improves the sound. Does anyone know where I could get my hands on the rest of the Factory cards?

flexible enough but lacking in good key dynamics and overall sound brilliance. Decent little sequencer and tough package. The keys tend to have a "cheap" feel reminicent of the companies psr series. comparibly priced to the Korg m-1 yet inferior in my opinion

I've had my SY55 since about '91 and I've maxed out on sounds for it (2 factory cards, 1 wave form, many other third party sounds from Valhala (phatt) and sound source). I use it for a tone module in addition to my other synths. Good for someone just starting out getting into synths and sequencing.
