The SY77 is the most versatile keyboard I have ever came across. The ease of it's use is nothing like i have ever seen, and the SOUNDS!!! From Authentic Horns, to the Jimmy Smith B3 Hammond, to RUSH like anolouges...this machine can do it all...... It is the workhorse in a population of trendy synths.. If you can get one, grab it....and have fun!!

Very solid performing keyboard. The sounds are real and the setup is easy to understand. Glad I have added to my setup.

I Just got mine two days ago, and I am really impressed with the sounds. Especially the Brass(French horn, Trumpet, saxophone), The organs are incredible especially the Jazz organ(it has an awesome rotary speaker effect). The Grand Piano really good(tight and crisp, excellent for Jazz and Pop) I haven't had enough time to deal with the sequencer our the synth, but it seems very complex. Which is a very good thing because with the sy77 you have total control over your sounds(substractive synthesis). Good filters, and excellent key response. The extra mod wheels, are great beacuse you can assign effects to them and contral them realtime while you play. Good sturdy case but they could have built a more solid one. Overall I am very happy with it. If you can get a good deal on one don't hesitate to buy it, you will not regret it.
