I've been playing keyboards for about 27 years now, and the VL-7 is by far the most expressive, organic-sounding synth I've ever owned. As somebody above wrote, "it comes alive". The VL-1 and VL-7 are also optically absolute jewels. Sits very nicely above an access Virus or two...
