I bought this keyboard new about 1990 ? Recently on the web I came across a ton of patches for this baby. It's one of the original vector synths. The sounds are not exactly fat by any means; but considering it's age and what it's currently worth it would make a good sound module or extra keyboard. 66 keys. No general Midi. 88 presets (starting with 11-88), 88 user patches (download tons of these from the web). It's got a slot for memory card (good luck finding one). It's Midi (1 in, 1 out, 1 through). It's got a cool vector control on the top which works quite well. Developing you own sounds can be a slow process. I often send the patches through my Midiverb IV to fatten them up. In general, if you can get this used for less then 1/3 retail it's a really great deal considering the amount of patches you can find and the novel vector synth aspect of it. I believe it was around $795 new. Don't use this as your only main synth in a home studio, spend the extra bucks for newer sounds (unless cost is a huge factor). Otherwise go for it.
