If youre a follower of our news, youll know that we think Dave Smith is a top chap. Not only that, but hes a great instrument designer too. His mono Evolver is an immensely powerful and unique sounding instrument, with the Poly Evolver stretching the potential even further. The latest news from Dave is that hell be showing a Poly Evolver Keyboard at next years NAMM show. We are looking forward to hooking up with Dave and bringing you the sights and sounds of the new addition. Weve already booked our appointment , so watch this space! The keyboard has 4 voices, each a complete Evolver identical to the mono Evolver and Poly Evolver rack. If you want more voices, simply chain Poly Racks using the dedicated poly chain MIDI output. Specs are bascially the same as the Poly Evolver rack, i.e. 512 Programs, 384 Combos, etc. Of course, there's the 78 knobs, 58 switches, blinking LFO and sequence blue LEDS, and backlit wheels that make this instrument scream "tweak me!" This ain't no virtual synth...
