We’ve seen the news of the new Line 6 KB37, but actually seeing it in the 'flesh' is another matter – I know the word sexy is a tad overused in the context of technology, but the Toneport KB37 actually is. Honest. Having only just landed in the UK this was it’s first public outing. Line 6 had a couple of workstations hooked up with Ableton Live (Line 6 edition) and the KB37. Essentially, the unit combines a Toneport USB audio interface, with all it’s zero-latency sound modelling capabilities and puts a simple but eminently functional 37 Key MIDI controller, with mod and pitch wheel, program up down keys, four buttons and four assignable knobs. Wrap this all up in a black funky casing and there you have it. We asked game Line 6 presenter Ross Bailey (who’d literally just come off demo – he’s a hothothot guitarist), to give us a quick tour. And he did. Shipping now. At £259 UK and as low as $299 US
