We covered the release of the Window version last November and now MHC have released Pianos for Mac OS X (Universal Binary supporting Mac Intel and Power PC Macs).
Pianos is an ambient piano plugin for Windows and Mac OS X, including hundreds of unique piano sounds: pad/piano layers, pianos with lush strings, electric/synth pianos etc.Pianos is the third plug-in in MHC’s series of hybrid synthesizers which use a set of waveforms/samples as the main oscillator source combined with a powerful synthesizer- and effect section which processes these waveforms.
MHC had this to say, “The plug-in features hundreds of piano recordings and layers which are combined to create a collection of pianos sounds which we're very satisfied with. Many of the presets follow our tradition of sounding "ambient", but this plug-in offers a variety of piano sounds. There are traditional acoustic pianos, grand pianos, electric pianos and synth pianos of many kinds.�
Pianos includes 256 presets and you may expand the plug-in with soundpacks. Three optional soundpacks are available for purchase. Pianos is available as a VST plugin for Windows and as an Audio Unit for Mac OS X.
