Puremagnetik has released Microdrum, a unique groove sequencing pack for Ableton Live 6. Microdrum comes loaded with 5 banks of drum kits, over 50 preset Groovetracks and 30 percussion menus. Based on the Magnetik Step16 rack, Microdrum employs 16 steps of rhythmic phrasing in individual sequencers for each drum voice.
Puremagnetik say that any Live 6 user can easily load any of Microdrum's instruments and begin creating complex beats. The company has extensively programmed Macro controls for each bank, allowing on-the-fly editing of drum timbre and tone. Also included, are detailed quick start lesson files to help users get up and running quickly.
Microdrum's kit banks include Studio 1 & 2 (Acoustic Drums), MoxBox (Analog 909 type kit), Percussao (world percussion) and Elektrodrum Kits (sample set from Puremagnetik's Elektrodrum).
