Due, they say, to rapid acceptance of VoiceSolo as a solution for monitoring vocals, as well as the increasing demand from singers to have the highest quality vocal monitoring in live performance, TC-Helicon is announcing a sonic upgrade to its VoiceSolo line of personal vocal monitors.
The three new models in the VoiceSolo XT Series are developed specifically with enhanced vocal fidelity in mind. TC say that the most important characteristics that comprise quality vocal sound are augmented in the new models including SPL, frequency response, off-axis response, resonance tests, and the most important test – hours of critical listening by vocalists.
VoiceSolo XT’s ability to flawlessly reproduce the human voice, say TC, is combined with the line’s unique mic-stand mounting options, vocalist volume control, and extremely rugged construction. The three new VoiceSolo XT models are
  • VSM-300 XT
  • VSM-200 XT
  • VSM-200p XT
VoiceSolo VSM-300 XT uses a 150 Watt BASH amplifier, onboard mixer & EQ and Custom ICT 6.5 speaker. An I/O box is included with 4 inputs, 6 outputs, mic preamp and phantom power.
VoiceSolo VSM-200 XT, employs the same amplifier and driver combination as VSM-300 XT combined with mic or line input with pass through, and a front mounted volume control.
The VSM-200P XT is a passive monitor featuring a custom design ICT 6.5 speaker and integrated tweeter and runs at 8 ohm. It features detented front volume control and pro grade Speakon connectors.
All VoiceSolo monitors cast aluminium enclosures feature a bass port that doubles as a carrying hand, multiple rubber surfaces for use as a compact wedge monitor, and adapters for integrating with standard mic stands. A mic-stand boom can also be snapped into place on top of VoiceSolo XT for a fully integrated vocal monitor on a stand.
