PreSonus has released two free instructional videos on how to record a song using the FP10 and FireBox FireWire recording interfaces.
The videos are available on the PreSonus website: Hosted by Baton Rouge musician Chris LeBlanc, each instructional video is a step-by-step tutorial on how to record a multi-track song using the included Cubase LE 4 recording software with the PreSonus FireWire interface. Each video begins with setting the song tempo and recording a ‘scratch track’ or ‘guide track.’ ‘Keeper tracks’ are then recorded to separate tracks in Cubase LE 4 including drums, bass guitar, keyboards and vocals. The videos end with mixing the song to a stereo wave file to burn to a CD or distribute online.
Director of Marketing Brad Zell told us, “We want PreSonus.com to be a place where people go to learn about recording and music creation.
