The Key Rig 25 range features 25 keys, eight knobs, eight buttons and a single fader. It’s somewhat reminiscent of the Oxygen8, but features a half action slimmer keyboard to make it even more compact. In addition it comes bundled with M-Audio’s Key Rig software, a virtual rack of software instruments: SP-1 Stage Piano, MS-2 Polyphonic Synthesizer, MB-3 Tone Wheel Organ and GM-4 General MIDI Module. The KeyRig 25 and KeyRig 49 reinforce M-Audio’s mission of empowering more and more people to make music, says Adam Castillo, marketing director at M-Audio. “The KeyRig 25 offers a familiar form factor similar to our ground-breaking Oxygen 8 keyboard, while the KeyRig 49 continues on the path of our best-selling Keystation 49e. The addition of the Key Rig software bundle makes these offerings even more powerful for PC users. Both keyboards are currently shipping. The KeyRig 25 retails in the UK for an MSRP of £69; the KeyRig49 retails in the UK for an MSRP of £79.
