Lets face it, those who’ve attempted to create, copy or edit instruments in Apples EXS24 editor are bound to have been discouraged (although we hear that Logic 8 goes some way to fixing that). So it’s not surprise that Redmatica introduced Key Mapper – a third party editor for EXS and a number of other software samplers. Their aim is to sweep away unnecessary processes and fiddling to allow the user to create instruments with ease and therefore carry on with the creative process rather than program. Redmatica have a loyal band of followers due to their intelligent way of building applications and now Key Mapper 1.5 adds another bunch of goodies to the the toolbox. Key Mapper can be bought directly from their website for $291.57 or 195 Euros
