You may remember Melodine's Direct Note Access (DNA) demo caused shockwaves throughout the industry when it was unveiled at this years Frankfurt Musik Messe. We were lucky enough to be there and film the whole thing, and I can tell you, rarely have we seen a room full of experienced hacks with their jaws on the floor - it was that good. For those who don't yet know what it is, Melodyne allows you to analyze a mono or stereo audio file and then edit and manipulate individual notes of polyhonic audio as if each note were discrete - like in a MIDI grid editor. Frankly it's mental. Thanks to Celemony and Thomas Wendt for making this video available. For more information
