SONIC TALK 123 - LIVE.
Hooray for Shoutcast! This week we changed streaming services to Shoutcast hosting and the live feed was much better - no dropouts or suchlike - I think this one's a keeper. This week Mark Tinley phones in while on a mission for Duran Duran, Dave Spiers from GForce Software is at home nursing a bad back - not surprising considering he's been hefting vintage keyboards about, P J Tracy - Emmy winning composer joins us in between dealing with noisy neighbors. This week we enjoy a pre Musik MESSE rumour or two, discuss the merits of stage diving for the super group after Chris Martin sprinted around the arena in Sydney earlier this month, then a couple of drum topics - the first in the form of the Silent Drum Controller, and then the wonderfully cheesy MiJam Air Drum Pro, we then ponder the new Dell Adamo and our own dream machines, and finish off with Depeche Mode and their new single and video Wrong. I'd like to welcome a new show sponsor this week - Loopmasters.com "The no 1 website and sample distributor, with inspirational collections of sounds and samples from some of the top producers" - This week they are offering a SonicState VIP download - listen to the podcast for details. Also, I would like to thank Roland UK for their continued sponsorship - see the links below Please do come and join us LIVE each week as we stream our live recording from Sonicstate.com/Live Remember...
