Not a lot of people would attempt to entertain a drunken, rowdy crowd with an instrument that looks a bit like an electric hookah.

This video, though, captures Eigenlabs' lead musician, David Kemp playing the Eigenharp Alpha live on the 4th plinth in Trafalgar Square.

The sound quality and video aren't great on this video, because it was recorded in a "drunken rowdy crowd" at 1 am - but it's clear that Kemp was able to captivate the crowd with his strange new instrument.

While the crowd initially was asking him to either jump or play Smoke On The Water, by the end of his set, they wanted him to do an encore.
