James May gets one of the coolest briefs of all time - to re-create the Top Gear theme tune using car engine noises.

To do it, he samples a variety of cars, ranging from the supercar Enzo Ferrari to a classic Chevrolet Corvette to modern cars like the Suzuki Swift and the Mazda RX-8 and even a construction dumper.

Unfortunately....the end result, as they note in the video, is a bit like a "fat, talentless shop assistant farting."

Sounds like they have an opportunity here to release the samples and see what others could do with the sounds......
