As the Co-founder and head of Mantis Recordings (Rhythm Plate, Brooks), Martin Iverson aka Atjazz has been on the forefront of jazzy UK deep house for ages. Operating from Derby he's been producing a steady supply of Deep House beats mixed with Electric Soul & Downbeat.
His tracks can be seen everywhere from Hed Kandi to Irma, from Naked Music to Grand Central. Now Loopmasters are very proud to present his royalty free sample collection, "Deep & Analogue", created for funky, fresh and soulful house and downbeat producers worldwide.
Alongside creating long player albums such as "Full Circle", Martin has also been a prolific remixer throughout his career remixing and reworking songs & works for artists such as Nitin Sawhney, Bob Sinclar, Jazzanova, Zed Bias & Omar, and is highly respected for his musicality and attention to detail with every aspect of his productions.
Within this Deep & Analogue sample collection producers should expect to find over 450MB of 24Bit samples, including 250+ Loops and 140 Single sounds and one shots. Also included are 63 Ready to play sampler patches (Drum Kits, Basses, Leads, Pads, Rhodes and FX) which will work with all popular soft samplers including Reason NNXT, Halion, EXS, SFZ and Kontakt. Reason Refill, Apple Loops, and Ableton Live versions are also available.
In detail the Atjazz sample collection includes 149 Drumloops between 117 to 124 Bpm, 47 Classic Breaks, 19 Bass Loops, 43 Synth Loops, 60 Single Drum Samples, 26 FX Sounds, 22 Leads, 20 Pads and Layers, 7 Rhodes Chords and additional FX.
"In order to make this artist pack for Loopmasters I had to think long and hard about how create the pack in a way that I would be be able to generate many sounds as I would for one of my own songs.
Not working "in the box' using new methods of music production 'Plugins, VSTi's etc...' meant that a lot of hard core recording was in store for me. Recording over 10 analogue machines each of a different age meant that I could give out a good varied selection of usable analogue sounds taken from the actual synths & machines. I for one am an avid sampler of my own sounds and love to get into editing and would love to see more people getting back into the art of sampling." â€“ Martin Iverson aka Atjazz
All beats were produced and mixed in cubase through UAD neve tech... nice and round and phat!
Mostly dry to leave maximum room for individual fx processing, no softsynths were used along with live percussion, Bass, Horns and Guitars.
