EASTWEST tell us that they are now shipping both the Diamond and Gold Editions of Hollywood Brass, a massive virtual instrument that they say features unprecedented sound quality and the brand new PLAY 3 playback engine for the very latest in performance and control. Based on the flagship Diamond Edition, EASTWEST say that Hollywood Brass Gold Edition is designed to bring the best professional scoring tools within the reach of any composer.
The second installment in the Hollywood series, Hollywood Brass combines the talents of producers Doug Rogers, Nick Phoenix, and Thomas Bergersen, and is engineered by Hollywood veteran Shawn Murphy.
Recorded in place at EastWest Studio 1, widely regarded, say EASTWEST, as the "best brass recording room in the entire world", Hollywood Brass is designed to work seamlessly with Hollywood Strings (and the upcoming Woodwinds and Percussion) for the ultimate in virtual Hollywood scoring.
Producers Doug Rogers, Nick Phoenix and Thomas Bergersen, had this to say, "Hollywood Brass is the most powerful, realistic and extensive brass library ever created. There is a focus and ease of use in this Virtual Instrument that is unprecedented. Once you experience Hollywood Brass, you will see that this is EastWest's finest creation to date."
Hollywood Brass Gold Edition was designed to run on most music creation computer systems, and the system specifications are consistent with most other EASTWEST/QUANTUM LEAP products. The Gold Edition is 16-bit, with one mic position (main) and includes all articulations found in the Diamond Edition. Upgrades to Hollywood Brass Diamond Edition can be done at any time. The Gold Edition ships on DVD.
Pricing and Availability:
EASTWEST/QUANTUM LEAP Hollywood Brass Gold Edition is now available for $595 MSRP ($495 introductory offer until September 30, 2011). More information:
