Native Instruments has announced a limited 10-day sales special on KONTAKT and 10 popular KONTAKT Instruments, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the sampler. Customers will be able to buy the full version of KONTAKT 5 – including its extensive 43 GB library – for half price up until July 7th, 2012. The 50% offer is also valid on the KONTAKT-based instruments DAMAGE, SESSION STRINGS PRO, ALICIA'S KEYS, SCARBEE FUNK GUITARIST, ABBEY ROAD 70s and MODERN DRUMMER, VINTAGE ORGANS, WEST AFRICA, SCARBEE PRE BASS and KONTAKT RETRO MACHINES MK 2.
The first version of KONTAKT was released in 2002, and, says NI, soon became an essential part of every professional studio. The company tells us that, introducing new features to the sampling world and expanding the sonic arsenal with each new version, KONTAKT revolutionized sampling and remains the industry standard, used by professional producers and engineers alike for a multitude of musical genres, sound design and film scoring.
With the arrival of the free KONTAKT player in 2010, KONTAKT became an even more attractive prospect to third-party instrument developers, leading to the series of KONTAKT Instruments available today.
