RAY are Brendan McCarthy, Sam Healy, Dave Hartmann, James Rutherford and are the creators of this giant beast. Unfortunately the 9ft 909 doesnt seem to have all the sequencing abilities of the original, maybe the sequencing will come in a future firmware update... ;)

The 9ft 909 uses a number of Roland PD-8 pads and a TD-12 Brain to trigger the 909 sounds on a TR8.

"Building the frame and interactive buttons was a huge challenge, we needed it to pack down for easy transport but be strong enough to be bashed and climbed on at festivals."

The 9ft 909 will be touring festivals this summer and is at Green Man Festival this weekend!
