The Koma Elektronik Komplex Sequencer was announced back at NAMM, which seems like a lifetime ago. But now they are out in the wild and we get a good old Krautrock jam on the Komplex from Youtube user Arjan Schat.

In this video Arjan was showcasing the modulating functionalities of the Komplex Sequencer, in his own words:

"I start with a simple scale on A and modulate its transpositions with a sequence on B. C and D both have a short sequence but the CV and gate are cross-mixed whilst a similar transposition modulation applies."

The Koma Komplex Sequencer was controlling a Doepfer Dark Energy and a Moog Little Phatty.

The sequence gets more and more "Komplex" as the track progresses and generates a wide range of sequences, but always keeps you locked into the original groove of the piece.

Nick was gassing for one of these after NAMM, we think this demo will only make his GAS a little stronger!
